LHF Series - Large Horizontal Valve Test Stand

Barbee’s LHF Series Valve Testers are heavy-duty manually operated hydrostatic and pneumatic test stands designed for shell and seat testing of valves across a wide range of sizes and pressure classes. Built for valve manufacturers, repair facilities, refineries, power plants, and industrial service centers, the LHF Series provides dependable, repeatable valve testing with rugged construction and operator-focused controls.

Available in multiple frame sizes covering valve sizes from 6” through 66” depending on model selection. Test pressures up to 10,000 PSI are available, with hydraulic clamping capacities ranging from 300 tons to 2000 tons to ensure secure sealing during hydrostatic and pneumatic shell/seat testing.

Each LHF model features a horizontal test fixture with custom-machined seal plates, straightforward manual controls, and robust hydraulic clamping systems engineered for daily production use. Standard designs are available for common valve ranges, while custom dimensions can be supplied for oversized valves, actuator clearance requirements, extended face-to-face lengths, or unique customer applications.
